Deoksungsan (Mt.) is also called Geumgangsan (Mt.) of Hoseo and there is Sudeoksa (Temple) on the mid-slope. Daeungjeon (the main building) of Sudeoksa is the oldest existing wooden structure. Sudeoeksan (Mt.) is abundant with extraordingary rocks that take exquisite forms of a skull, a grain stack, and the beast with its mouth open. Spectacles include Wonhyobong (Peak), Seongmunbong (Peak), Deoksungsan (Mt.), Haetaebawi (Rock) etc. There are lots of cultural assets including Sudeoksa, Jeonghyesa (Temple), Mangongtap (Pagoda), Yeoseungdang, Bodeoksa (Temple) etc. and also attractions such as Chunguisa (Temple) and Deoksan hot spring. Sudeoksan offers combined opportunities to visit temples and hot spring as well. Hike trails are so short that it's good for family outings. There are 3-tier stone pagoda in the front yard of Daeungjeon (national treasure No.49), the main buidling of Sudeoksa, Goyeo Mural inside Daeungjeon, Mireukburipsang (the standing statue of carved Maitreya à´ðãÚ¯×ÍÝÖí¡ßÀ), 25 cheok (feet) tall with double hats on, which was erected by Mangong on his way to Jeonghyesa (Temple), and Mangongtap (Ø»Íö÷²) (Pagoda), dedicated to Mangong.
