Garisan (Mt.) is 1,051m above sea level. It is located on the border of Hongcheon-gun and Chuncheon-si (city). From the top of the mountain there is a splendid prospect of Soyangho (Lake) that attracts mountaineers' attention. There are small waterfalls at the bottom of the mountain which mountain climbers can view as they start their ascent here along the valley and the ridgelines .
The thick forest and the old pine trees are inviting hikers and on a peak south of the summit, there is a small spring water, which creates Honcheongang (River), waiting for mountaineers throughout the year.
It is easier and less tiring to descend toward Soyangho (Lake). It is a beautiful mountain where joy is waiting for you.
