It is generally known that Palbongsan (Mt.) surprises visitors twice. The first surprise is that it has a beautiful figure although it is low. The second is that it is difficult to hike as rock ridgelines are continuous in a row. It is so beautiful as to be called "little Geumgang" from time immemorial as its main ridgeline spreads like a folding screen.
Furthermore, Scenery from the top is very beautiful and after hiking, you can even enjoy swimming since Hongcheongang (River) flows on both sides of main ridgeline. It is good to hike with the family because it is low, to camp because of a white sandy beach, to fish fresh-water fish such as catfish, mandarin fish, etc, and to hold athletic events for groups on the sports ground in the tourist resort.
