 It is located 18km north from Gapyeong. It is 1,267m high and the second highest mountain next to Hwaaksan (Mt.) in Gyeonggi-do. The physical aspect of Meyongjisan (Mt.) is vast and magnificent. From the top the peaks of Yongmunsan (Mt.), streams of Bukhangang (River), waters flowing through the valleys underneath are the most beautiful sights in Gyeonggi-do. Along the ridgeline toward the mountaintop, natural forests with oriental oaks, firs and other trees flourish and harmonize with valleys.
