It rises 723 m and is one of 5 major mountains of the Honam
region located at the border of Gwansan-eup and Daedeok-eup.
The whole mountain is made up of rocks so the peaks look as if
they pierce through the sky. The camelias color the mountain
red in the spring and the eulalias show off their beauty in
the fall. From the top of the mountain, you can see the
archipelago of the south coast spreading like an oriental
painting. You can also see Wolchulsan (Mt.), Jeamsan (Mt.),
and Muneungsan (Mt.) to the north at a glance and on a clear
day, Hallasan (Mt.) of Jeju-do is also visible.
