Deogyusan Natural Recreation Forest, 85 km from Daejeon via
Muju and 34 km from Geochang, is easily accessible. Adjoining
Deogyusan National Park, it is approximately 4 km from the
entrance of the valley in Gucheon-dong, Muju. It has an
abundance of Japanese Larch and Korean Pine trees, and the
roads in the forest enable tourists to enjoy cycling. Such
tourist attractions as Muju Resort, Deogyusan National Park,
Muju water pumping power plant, and Jeoksangsanseong (Mountain
Fortress) are located nearby.
